The Rural College & Derrynoid Centre is set in 250 acres of secluded forest woodland on the site of the 18^th Century Irish Manor House, Derrynoid Lodge, near the market village of Draperstown.

 

We offer 40 en-suite bedrooms, which are tastefully furnished and presented to the highest standards with:

 

·        Colour television

·        Telephone

·        Hair dryer

·        Tea/coffee making facilities

·        Towels and toiletries

 

The excellent conference facilities within the centre include:

 

·        A spacious 110-seater lecture theatre with a rear or front projection facility and a 3m x 2.5m screen

·        8 fully equipped syndicate rooms

·        A fully equipped office bureau

·        IT Suite with broadband internet access

·        A reference library

 

The Derrynoid Leisure Suite offers the latest fitness equipment and exercise programmes.  Guests may also take some time to relax in the hot tub and sauna.  Cardiovascular equipment includes:

 

·        Treadmills

·        Rowers

·        Bicycles

·        Cross trainers

·        Weight resistance machines 

 

The Courtyard Restaruant and Bar is an integral and important feature of The Rural College & Derrynoid Centre.  The range of appetising menus, delicious food and superb wines all present excellent value for money.

Relax ….. stay a while

Anyone can stay overnight in our quality comfortable accommodation: business people, conference groups, families, tourists, etc.  We can accommodate 80 people in a variety of twin, family and triple rooms.  Each bedroom is tastefully furnished and presented to the highest standard.

 

Massages & Treatments

Why not pamper yourself during your stay with us.  We offer a wide range of health and relaxation treatments with expert therapists in Aromatherapy, Relaxation & Yoga, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Ayruveda Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Hot Stones Massage, Swedish Massage and Thai Foot Massage.  Just give us a call and we will set up an appointment for you, pending availability of therapists.
