Directions to The Derrynoid Centre

If you are using a satellite navigation system key the following postcode, BT45 7DW, to find The Rural College & Derrynoid Centre.

 

From Belfast

• Follow the M2 out of Belfast towards Londonderry.
• At the end of the M2 continue onto the M22 and follow this to its end.
• Continue onto the A6 travelling west through Toomebridge, towards Derry.
• Take the second exit at the Castledawson Roundabout, continuing westwards towards Derry, approximately 6 miles after the roundabout turn left onto the A2 towards Tobermore. Once in Tobermore Village turn right onto the B41 towards Draperstown.
• Follow the B41 into Draperstown, take the third exit off the roundabout onto the B40 Derrynoid road, for 1.5 miles.
• The entrance to the centre is clearly marked on the right hand side.

Distance - 50 Miles       Time - Approx 1 Hour

 

From Derry

• Follow the A6 out of Londonderry towards Belfast .
• Travel through Dungiven and across the Glenshane Pass , near the top of the Glenshane pass you will pass the Ponderosa Inn (on left), from here continue for 5 miles down the Glenshane Road. Turn right onto the A29 towards Tobermore. Once in Tobermore Village turn right onto the B41 towards Draperstown.
• Follow the B41 into Draperstown, take the third exit off the roundabout onto the Derrynoid road, for 1.5 miles.
• The entrance to the centre is clearly marked on the right hand side.

Distance - 30 Miles       Time - Approx 40 Mins

 

From Omagh

• Head east on B4/Campsie Rd toward Campsie Drive.

• At Campsie Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A505/Killyclogher Rd.  Continue to follow A505 - Signposted Cookstown.

• Continue Forward onto Drum Road - A505 - Entering Cookstown.

• At T-Junction turn left onto Church Street - A29 - Signposted Town Centre, Moneymore.

• At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Moneymore Road - A29 - Signposted Moneymore, Magherafelt A31.

• Continue forward onto Cookstown Road - A29 - Entering Moneymore.

• At roundabout take 1st exit onto Lawford Street - A29 - Signposted Desertmartin, Maghera, Coleraine.

• Continue forward onto Roshure Road - A29 - Entering Desertmartin.

• Turn left onto the B40 - Signposted Draperstown.

• Continue forward onto the Magherafelt Road - B40 - Entering Draperstown.

• Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout onto the Derrynoid road, for 1.5 miles.
• The entrance to the centre is clearly marked on the right hand side.

Distance - 45 Miles       Time - Approx 55 Mins
