Martin Fullen is an artist, landscapes are his passion, oils his medium.  His work is based on catching light and shade and using bright and subtle colours to convey the mood in his paintings.  These are realistic and true to life, bringing the colours of nature to stir the emotions of the viewer. 

 

You can experience Martin’s unique way of teaching at one of his classes.  He has found that by taking the class through a simple step by step procedure, he can more effectively teach techniques in colour mixing, perspective, light and shade; even for the absolute beginner.  On the other hand, the serious student of painting, in a more intense environment, can learn more intricate techniques with colour and brushwork.

 

Martin usually finds that the simple approach is the best and in a weekend most of his students can produce two to three completed paintings.

 

You will be required to bring your own materials.  A list will be given upon enrolment for each course.  Materials can also be purchased from the course tutor.
