Wine Appreciation Afternoon with Dinner, Bed and Breakfast

 

These courses are designed to increase your enjoyment and pleasure through greater wine knowledge, with delivery being in a practical, snobbery-free style.

 

Over the few hours you will get to grips with the various grape varieties and wine styles.  You will also explore the technique of tasting and reinforce the theory with the practical.  Food and wine matching will be further developed over dinner, which will be tailored to complement the wine.  By the end of the day you will know more about wine, and have the answers to those many wine-related questions that you were always too afraid to ask!

 

Denis is a Wine and Food Development Consultant with Woodford Bourne NI (Direct Wine Shipments Wholesale), one of the first in the Province to be awarded the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma and is a member of the Association of Wine Educators.    He started his career as a chef, and since then has managed to eat and drink his way around the world!  His travels in the name of good food and wine have brought him to every corner of the globe including Canada, the Falklands, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Cuba, China, the Americas ……..  and The Rural College & Derrynoid Centre.
